Elizabeth's Creations was established in 1998 as a spin off from another business Mary Elizabeth and Gary Martin owned ~ known as Nature's Circle ~ where she taught nature/science to children and young adults. As the programs progressed so did the children's enthusiasm to have more! After learning about birds they wanted a safe way to observe them nesting, so she created a birdhouse with a clear side for observation. The flower presses, decorated with real flowers, were developed for the botany class and so on. She began to have so much fun creating these "tools" for her students she couldn't pass up the opportunity to offer these items to everyone.

And so Elizabeth's Creations began and changed! Since then, Mary Elizabeth has found the relaxation in paper arts/crafts ~ all kinds ~ and the joy in designing. She writes instruction booklets, invents tools, develops tips and techniques, and is always looking for new ways to use the tools she has ~ and buys :o) ~ and loves to pass on the information.

Mary Elizabeth and Gary live in Northern California on the western slope of the Sierras and have two adult children, Justin and Michele.
